Consider the thought that we are all hypnotized, as a world culture, to believe certain things and disbelieve others. Many of us believe that we can only attain success through hard work and suffering, some believe that you should expect the worst outcome; then you won’t be disappointed, and many believe that they are victims of circumstance and have no control over their lives. If you choose to awaken from these “hypnotized” states of being, you can create a very different and much happier life. You can choose to believe that you can create success merely by envisioning it and believing in it, doing what inspires you to create it, and allowing it to unfold. You can expect the best outcome because you believe you deserve it. You can maintain that you are the creator of your reality, take responsibility for creating it well and with good outcomes, and enjoy the creative control you have over your life. You can use hypnosis to change your limiting beliefs, replacing the old beliefs with new, empowering ones.

Clearing and releasing old habits and recognizing past, negative experiences are useful, but I like to focus more on moving toward empowerment and manifesting a client’s goals and future self.

I do this through Alchemical Hypnotherapy, taking clients on a journey to a safe place and drawing forth the Higher Self, Future Self, and aspects they wish to manifest, such as an Inventive Career Self, a Courageous World Traveler, or a Lovable Partner (either within a client’s own self or one a client wishes to attract).

Through visualization and feeling, hearing, and being a new reality or self, one can bring this new way of living into one’s daily experience. This is alchemical in that one’s entire orientation is changed through the transformation of beliefs and the opening to possibilities.
