WHAT IS HYPNOTHERAPY AND WHAT HAPPENS IN A SESSION?

Hyp­nother­apy is an effec­tive way to change unwanted pat­terns, lim­it­ing beliefs, old trau­mas, fears and neg­a­tive behav­iors. By access­ing the sub­con­scious mind, which con­trols 88% of our behav­ior, we can change our neg­a­tive beliefs and habits and replace them with new, healthy and empow­er­ing ones. Even ill­ness, pain or irreg­u­lar body func­tions can be improved or erad­i­cated. In a hyp­nother­apy ses­sion, I lis­ten to your issues and desires for change. Some­times a talk ther­apy such as Voice Dia­logue is facil­i­tated for you, to help you get clear on feel­ings and agen­das of the sep­a­rate parts of your selves. Then I bring you into a light to mod­er­ate trance and describe a med­i­ta­tive visu­al­iza­tion jour­ney, weav­ing in your goals and desired changes. Sug­ges­tions for improved behav­ior are made and anchored in your con­scious­ness, and you emerge from the trance. The changed behav­ior and new habits are expe­ri­enced in daily life, some­times imme­di­ately and some­times grad­u­ally. Addi­tional tech­niques, such as Alchem­i­cal Hyp­nother­apy and guides work, bring an inner guide, inner ideal mother or father, or inner healer into the visu­al­iza­tion jour­ney to change old feel­ings and cre­ate new and pos­i­tive expe­ri­ences. Non-trance tech­niques, such as Neuro-linguistic Pro­gram­ming (NLP), may also be used to effect change. In NLP, I guide you to describe old behav­ior and then use var­i­ous meth­ods to cre­ate the new, desired behav­ior, guid­ing you to use body move­ment and speech to fully encode the new habits into the neu­ro­log­i­cal sys­tem. In a hyp­nother­apy trance, you are always in con­trol and will never do or say any­thing that would con­flict with the con­scious mind.
